Douglas Abraham

As the founder of VisSpiro Strategies, Mr. Abraham has over 27 years of experience in planning, design and production of architectural planning projects throughout the State of Texas, across the nation and internationally. He brings extensive client communication skills to all of his projects. He has managed services provided to clients through workshops and interviews for new buildings and renovations in the form of programming, feasibility studies, needs assessments, space utilization assessments, strategic planning, space management and master planning. Mr. Abraham has completed over 300 planning assignments for government, corporate, non-profits, higher education, k-12 education, religious, medical and military clients.

Mr. Abraham’s university assignments include 100+ projects at all five State of Texas public university systems as well as Texas Southern University and Midwestern State University. University clients out of the state of Texas include Ashland University in Ohio, Cornell University in New York, and Virginia Tech in Virginia. Additionally, he has completed many projects for various community college districts throughout Texas.

Other client types include 26 projects for municipal, county and state governments, 15 projects for corporate entities, 15 assignments for non-profits, 13 projects for k-12 clients, 3 religious projects and 4 projects for various hospitals and clinics.

Mr. Abraham has also completed 41 military needs assessment projects for the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines.

Since 2009, Mr. Abraham has served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Texas College & University Facilities Professionals (ATCUFP) and has actively participated on the planning committees for the Texas College & University Facilities (TCUF) Conference and he is the current president of ATCUFP until his term ends in October 2018.
